This course continues the various types of critical and expository writing students will need throughout their college career. It emphasizes the process of conducting research, using primary and secondary sources, culminating in an MLA-formatted research essay. This course also introduces students to the interpretation and comparative analysis of literature of various genres and from diverse periods and cultures.
